Fouquieria, Fouquieras, Fouquieras spp. Its wood is used for building timber, fencing, chest construction and firewood. Its greenish-yellow flowers are borne in large clusters in spring.
It produces small, bright green leaves after the rains, which drop off in the dry season.

ALLUAUDIA
All 8 species of this genus are native to southern Madagascar and belong to the family Didiereaceae.
They are small, drought-tolerant shrubs in their natural habitat, but can also grow into trees over time. They are similar to cacti in form, as their entire branch system is strongly thorny but covered with small, fleshy leaves during the growing season.
Deciduous. Monoecious, monoecious plants, the flowers open in masses at the ends of mature branches.

Cultivation:
