When to sow?
April-May in the open ground. Grows best in a shady, humid, sheltered spot. Requires regular watering in a sunny position.
Why is it good to sow spurge in the garden?
In vegetable gardens, it repels aphids, thrips and cabbage aphids. Throw a row between them or at the edge of beds. It will also suppress weeds. It is excellent for decorating flowerbeds, window boxes and pots.
