The HECHT 229 is a high quality manual spreader with adjustable spreading. It is mainly suitable for spreading seed and fertiliser, but also helps with the application of road salt in winter. The amount to be spread can be easily adjusted using the lever on the handle. The spreading is even thanks to the drive transmitted from the wheel - the amount spread is directly proportional to the distance travelled. The hopper holds 29 litres of spreading material and is also fitted with a sieve to prevent the spreading mechanism from clogging. A cover sheet is included as an accessory.
