Trifolium repens
Primarily as an important butterfly member of grass-clover mixtures. It is the most widely used butterfly component in turf plantations, along with deer fescue, pasture-type alfalfa and other testicular species, due to its green production and nutritional value (high crude protein content, good digestibility) and excellent association properties. The main use of cultivated white whey is as fodder (hay, green fodder, haylage) for artificial pastures and mown grassland.
White whey grass mixtures can be grown in drier climates with good results. They contribute to maintaining soil strength in pure plantings through their valuable holding and root residues, microbial nitrogen fixation and use as green manure.
Seed requirement: 10-15 kg/ha
Liflex white testis (Trifolium repens) variety description
White clover is important in permanent meadow and pasture areas, where it improves the quality of grassland crops. LIFLEX is a variety with excellent stocking density and above average disease resistance.
