Active ingredient: the nematode Heterorhabditis bacteriophora, which acts by multiplying in the larvae and pupae of the insect pest

Use: In ornamental soil against the grooved back weevil

Dose: 1 sachet/100m2, i.e. 500,000 nematodes/100m2

Nematodes 0,5-0,9 mm long multiply in the soil only by infecting the host, i.e. the damaging larva or pupa. Nematodes live in a symbiotic relationship with bacteria, which may help to provide insecticidal activity.

Nematop is effective in moist soil temperatures above 12°C.

Control should start when young larvae are detected. When preparing the spray, the entire contents of the package should be dissolved in water at 15-20 °C. After removal of the watering can or filters, apply the product to the spray can at least 15 minutes before application. 10 l/100 m2 of solution should be poured or sprayed on the area. When using a sprayer, use a 1 mm nozzle at a maximum pressure of 5 bar. Do not store the sprayed product for more than 4 hours! Water for 3 weeks after treatment - keep the soil moist!
