Medium-thick stems, good stem-to-leaf ratio, medium green foliage. Inflorescences medium lilac to lilac shades, more than medium vigorous development. Spikelets 2-3 whorled, containing 6-8 seeds.

Economic value:

Quick to set after pruning. Field persistence is excellent. Can be grown under irrigated, intensive conditions for 4 years, under extensive conditions for 5-6 years. Good frost resistance, drought tolerant. It produces most dry matter in mowing rotations of 35-40 days. Protein yields are highest at the beginning of flowering, when harvested at blue bud stage.
