Homemade whitening: 5 ml/10 l water
Liquid, absorbable fungicide emulsion in concentrate formulation. It can act both through soil and leaves, and is also a preventive curative and inhibitory product. It also has a significant plant conditioning effect.
Proposed technology
For soil treatment, dissolve 0,3-0,4 l Proplant® in 20-50 l of water per 1 m3 of soil for soil disinfection, then sprinkle evenly over the soil mixture with a sprinkler and mix thoroughly.
It can also be used for surface soil treatment at a concentration of 0,15-0,25 % before or immediately after sowing, planting, cuttings.
Control of phytophthora in potatoes and tomatoes should be started before symptoms appear and repeated every 10-14 days, 2-3 times, regardless of the degree of infestation. The use of an adherence enhancer is recommended to increase the effect.
Preventive control of peronospora in cucumbers is recommended. Treatment should be repeated every 8-14 days, 1-3 times depending on the severity of the infestation.
In onions, preventive control of onion peritonitis should be carried out from 4 to 6 leaf stage onwards, based on the forecast. Spraying should be repeated 3-4 times every 8-14 days depending on the infection pressure. The use of an adhesion promoter is recommended to ensure good adhesion of the spray.
In lettuce, the irrigation treatment of plants against seedling pathogens should be started at the silique stage. Transplanted seedlings can be treated up to 5-6 leaf stage at the latest. Spraying against lettuce peronospores is recommended immediately after transplanting, but up to 8-10 leaf stage at the latest. The product should no longer be used after heading!
In ornamental plants and forest nurseries, for the control of soil-dwelling fungi, if soil disinfection has not been carried out, it is recommended to water the soil prepared for sowing or planting immediately before sowing, needling, planting or cuttings. For potted and containerised plants, a solution of 0,15 % should be used.
Practical advice
Treatment against potato blight in potatoes and tomato blight in tomatoes should be started before symptoms appear. In vegetable seedling production, treatment of seedling beds against soil-borne diseases by irrigation is recommended before sowing, planting, cuttings or immediately afterwards by watering on the soil surface.
MECHANISM OF ACTION The active substance inhibits the formation of cell membranes of susceptible fungal organisms, the growth of fungal filaments, the formation of spores and germination. It has the particularity of being an absorbable compound suitable for soil and foliar treatment. In addition to its preventive, sporulation-inhibiting and curative effects, the long-absorption from soil also has excellent plant conditioning properties. Proplant® provides excellent control of difficult to kill soil-dwelling algal fungi (e.g. peronospora, phytophthora, etc.).
EFFECTIVE In open and closed cultivation in vegetable and ornamental crops against soil-transmissible algal fungi (Phythophthora, Pyhtium, Aphanomyces, Peronospora, etc.). It can be used as a foliar or stem treatment, in cucumbers, onions, lettuce against peronospora, in tomatoes and potatoes against phytophthora.
