When to use it ?
Clay granules should be used all year round, in winter and summer, to take good care of your plants, as they have many useful properties. It can also be used in the garden and for potted plants!
In summer
In the hot weather, spreading a layer of granules on top of the pots will prevent the soil and roots from drying out quickly. And in the garden, it is also useful for the soil layer of water-demanding plants, as it will help prevent them from drying out too quickly.
In winter
In a dry heated room it provides humidity for the plant and prevents overwatering. For those prone to overwatering, granules are a must. After all, if you sprinkle granules on top of the soil in winter but accidentally overwater the plant, the clay granules will absorb the excess water. This prevents the plant's roots from rotting, and when the granules run out of water, they can slowly regain their moisture. The colour of the balls is an indication of how moist the soil is, as dry balls are light in colour and wet balls are darker.
