Comments and recommendations for use: - Control of flower thrips should be started on the basis of flower inspection and knowledge of larval and imago numbers. Vertimec is also effective against thrips resistant to other products. - In pears, the biological efficacy of the product against pear leafroll can be enhanced by the addition of 0,25% Agrol Plus. The oily combination should not be mixed with agents containing elemental sulphur (e.g. phthalimides, dithiocarbamates) to prevent scorch symptoms. AKG Programme Classification: - May be used in target programmes for integrated arable, farmland management, arable cropping with wild goose and crane control programmes, bustard with habitat improvement requirements, bird and small game habitat improvement requirements and blue wild goose habitat improvement requirements. - In integrated and traditional fruit production target programmes, it can only be used in pears against pear leaf spot.
