Apple moth and apple honeysuckle pheromone traps contain 2 traps, and plum moth, oriental fruit moth, and variegated and saddle vine moth traps contain 3 traps. The pheromone traps attract males of the moth species to the trap with a species-specific scent. In this way we can monitor the emergence and drawing of different pest moths in the area. Assemble the trap house according to the drawing in the package and place the pheromone traps in the right place. Using the wire supplied, fix the trap to the tree at eye level, in a place where the wind does not move it too much. It is advisable to use two pheromone traps to get a more accurate picture of the infestation in the area. Check the traps at least every two days and record the catch data to help determine the peak swarming. Scrape the catch of the day off the sticky traps each day, and replace the sticky trap when it becomes full. Pheromone baits are changed every 4-5 weeks. The use of pheromone traps helps to choose the right time for the right and necessary plant protection.
