The active ingredient in Basamid® G breaks down in the soil, when exposed to moisture, into a number of components that kill both plant and animal organisms, giving the product a uniquely broad spectrum of activity.
Basamid G can be used to control four types of pests at the same time:
Free-living plant parasitic nematodes, root-knot nematodes, cyst nematodes and stem nematodes.Soil-dwelling pests such as wireworms, tapeworm nematodes, and stink bugs.
Soil-borne fungi such as pathogens causing wound and wilt diseases, root rot, potato canker, leaf spot and rhizoctonia seedling diseases.
Against seed-sprouting monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous germinating weeds.

For general soil disinfection in tobacco, for pre-sowing disinfection of soil in vegetable and ornamental seedling beds and for disinfection of soil to be used for potting plants at 250 g/m3. For the pre-plant disinfection of soil in open and closed growing facilities for vegetable and ornamental crops, ornamental nurseries, forest nurseries, orchards and vine nurseries, and for medicinal herb crops, at a rate of 50-60 g/m2. For disinfection of fruit, vine and hop plantations at 40-100 g/m2 .
Basamid G can be used effectively all year round in heated greenhouses and in foil;
As a result of its gaseous action, it also disinfects critical areas such as corners, gaps and greenhouse structural elements.
Soil disinfection can be carried out between two crops.
Before disinfection, all plants must be removed from the greenhouse and completely isolated from adjacent growing equipment.
For effective treatment, the area should be thoroughly watered 2-3 weeks before the planned application of Basamid G and kept moist until treatment. Soil moisture must be maintained after application of the product and the soil surface must be covered with a film after application.
Safe cultivation can be verified by an on-site germination test on a treated soil sample.

Food withdrawal period: no restrictions for normal use.
