Dose, application date:
Apply at a rate of 0,4 l/ha before the expected date of infection. Repeat spraying every 7-10 days as necessary! The active ingredient in Altima, fluazinam, has a strong phytophthora spore killing activity which is retained in the soil even when washed down to the tuber. We specifically recommend spraying the last two fungicide sprays on potatoes with Altima because it greatly improves tuber quality and shelf life. In Western Europe Altima is the basic fungicide for potatoes under the name Altima Shirlan. It is a contact, multi-point active agent (spore killing, sporulation inhibition, hyphal and aphid growth inhibition).
